25-11-06 Christine is a very special needs Westie. She really needs an extremely experienced, kind, understanding peaceful home with no children. A good, calm other dog would be ideal for her too. This dog is a pretty, healthy dog - but has been very badly scarred by her past life. To help Christine, she has received regularly healing, flower remedies, etc. She wears her crystals with pride. Now In foster in Somerset for information on adopting Christine please e-mail RCPeacock@aol.com or LINDADUNN8@aol.com.
15-11-06 Limeric is one of six collies to come in today. Their nine days were up and their destination was either here or go to the vets. 14-11-06 Frisky is a beautiful 7-8 month old big collie male. He is very playful great with other dogs and a sweet heart. However some things scare him, it makes me think he has been hit. but even in the short time he has been here he has got more trusting. He is a truly magnificent dog, well built, agile and keen to learn.  18-11-06 - Now In foster in Somerset. For information on adopting Frisky, please e-mail RCPeacock@aol.com or LINDADUNN8@aol.com.
2-10-06 Honey was originally homed from Many Tears as a pup. However her adopters circumstances have changed, leading to her being left for long periods of time. Hence she has been returned.
Honey is a little more than 1 year old, she is about 22 inches to her shoulder and weighs 20 kg.
She had been living as an only dog, following being returned she was very nervous of other dogs but now enjoys playing with most dogs.
She lived with some cats and did not have a problem. She likes people but has only had a little experience of children.
Honey did do some damage when she was left for very long periods of time however she has done no damage and been clean in the house, now she is only left for reasonable periods.
Honey travels well in the car.
Honey is a healthy well-adjusted young dog who could live as an only dog with people who could give her the attention she loves or be one of a group of dogs.
Being fostered in Somerset. For information on adopting Honey contact Rosemary by e-mail at RCPeacock@aol.com.
13-9-06 Bailey is a 17 month collie cross. He is about the height of a lab, but built more like a pointer. He is a very willing learner and really wants a special owner, but there are some dogs he dislikes.
He would be happiest as an only dog or with a bitch. He is also a dog who would be happiest in the country. On the lead he can be mistrustful with other dogs and thus defensive, however, with good clear-cut handling this is not happening here.
He has met kids but a more adult home is preferred. This poor dog has had a very chequered first 17 months of life and really needs a forever, knowledgeable home who will be there for him for ever. Being fostered in Somerset- for information on adopting contact Rosemary by e-mail at RCPeacock@aol.com.
25-08-06 Casey is a 6 year old, sad, gentle, thrown away dog. She is a whippet cross maybe Doberman. She is very loving, very sensitive, very confused why her family decided to throw her away with no care or thought. They had a baby and she was an inconvenience.  She has been attacked by a dog and is wary at present of it happening again, though we do hope to boost her esteem and help her through that. She will chase cats. She is gentle and quiet, but just a black and tan cross. Her heart is aching and mine is too.
28-8-06 update Casey is starting to come out of her shell- one of our volunteers has spent loads of time playing with her and she loves to play fetch now.  Being fostered in Somerset- for information on adopting contact Rosemary by e-mail at RCPeacock@aol.com.
