He is a farm collie crossed with a Springer spaniel and a Labrador. During the summer months Speckles works the cows on our dairy farm; in the Winter he becomes a chicken herder. Speckles loves playing football with my 2 boys, and he is a great defender. His Party trick is to keep a balloon up in the air for about 10 minutes, before he Pops it. I joined HDCS to do Flyball, as Speckles loves any sort of ball. We occasionally attend the obedience classes at HDCS and Speckles has gained his Bronze & Silver KC Good Citizen awards, but he does find obedience a little boring. What Speckles really loves is agility..... We started Agility by doing the beginners course in January 2003, we have now progressed to being in the top & competition class after 6 months of training. We entered our first show in August 03, where we had a clear round, coming 6th in Elementary Jumping!! at my second show, we came 6th again! Also in elementary jumping. Speckles competes under the kennel club name "Go Geddum" |
